Revelations (2000)

Revelations was a grand endeavor by Enoch Watcher to create a musical soundtrack to a book written by Craig Conte. The album encompasses the genius of Danny Elfman, and it has its Roger Waters’ moments. “New Messiah” is probably the most memorable song on the album followed by “20th Century Breakdown” and “As Judas & Juliet Did.” “Revelations Pts. I, II, & III” played by classical pianist, Barbara Wheat, keeps the theme of the story flowing freely, and the steady drumming of Alan Blaver carries the weight of the rhythm section. Featured on the album is the singing ability of Scotland Yard’s, Kim Cahill, and Mike Donohue on guitar/bass. Overall, music fans will enjoy this record if they appreciate strong lyrics and theme- based musical albums.
